Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Our Position on Obama's Election
The person you call President Obama ... ."

Thursday, October 06, 2005

Today's, and yesterday's, arrogant media ass.
Fidel Castro recoils at Cronkite's suggestion that he kill President Reagan.

Almost three years ago today I asked, of Walter Cronkite, "Why Do You Trust This Man?"  More than any living human, Cronkite represents an elitist broadcast media that continue to use a position of trust in order to advance left-wing ideology.  I think I can make a valid case to execute the Cronk for treason (after a trial, of course), but that would only serve to put the focus on me, the most trusted man in Blogdom, and away from him.  Here's Cronk a few days ago in the LA TIMES [And that's the way Cronkite still is].
"We [as a nation] are not educated well enough to perform the necessary act of intelligently selecting our leaders," Cronkite, 88, said during a day of speeches and interviews Tuesday at USC's Annenberg School for Communication, where he helped present the biannual Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism. -
He is actually right, after a fashion.  Thanks to almost 50 years of selective media control of the public debate, there are folks who can fairly be called too ignorant to intelligently select our leaders.  They were last seen voting for John Kerry.   The real  source of Cranky's angst, we have learned in the past, is the new media (talk radio, blogs and the internet) that  replace the left's monolithic franchise.

Reminder:  Cronkite is 88, so get your Pissatorium kit ASAP.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Cronkite is the Jimmy Carter of the media world. Both have lost all semblance of civility and have given their lives over to authoritarianism, hate, despair and deception.

(Rush stated only about 2% of the populace read blogs, they're mainly read by other bloggers. I guess I'm an official minority now).
However, I knew there was a reason I read your blog. The two posts prior to this one dove tail so well w/the Cronk's attitude and proves the point of biased news coverage in America.
Never a challage to the propaganda they are spreading and the truths they are hiding....And it always makes my head hurt and tummy ache. joyce

A bit of trivia ... the name Cronkite is a cognate (and may be the Angicization of) the German word krankheit -- or illness.

Do with that what you will.

And Blogger strikes again. The tagged object in the previous post was supposed to be the German word krankheit.
