Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Today's Political Science
Republicans have the majority in the House of Representatives, but whose mug do you see every single day passing judgment on United States policy and initiatives?

Nancy "I do not have syphilis" Pelosi

Speaker Dennis Hastert

Republicans have the majority in the United States Senate, but whose mug do you see every single day passing judgment on United States policy and initiatives?

Harry "Go cut me a nice switch" Reid

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D.

That's right, the media choose to go with kindred spirits, and pretend that what Democrats think means something.  Well, it does actually.  Even though only one in 100 Americans can tell you any of their names, or even which party they belong to, they do know what they don't like when they hear it, which explains why congress' approval rate is less than half the president's.  More proof that Democrats must be kept away from machinery.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."

No no. You have it wrong Rodger. We want the Dhimmocraps near dangerous machinery--at least until they hit the wrong button/lever ;-)

I more or less had the macinery of gummint in mind, but that works too. :D

Yeah, the media can grab most of the blame here but Frist ain't exactly an air wave burner. I'll be glad when he's gone. And does he really think he's got a shot at the Republican nomination? As much as I despised Daschle's politics, that MoFo was an effective majority leader. Of course you're right Rog, without the MSM on your side, it's an upuphill battle to get your views fairly aired out.

And it's also the fault of people who get their news spoonfed to them by the networks. 30+ million a night watch those airheads. That's just plain lazy.

I think that's what W was hinting at a bit ago when he had a 9pm news conference one day, then a 10:30am news conference the next. One of the things he said in the second was that he was going to keep setting up more of these news meetings in order to get his message out more frequenly and clearer.

And I think that's a good move.
If the normal media won't carry the message correctly, find another way to get your voice heard.
