Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Deep Thoughts

RISKY BUSINESS: Until recently, ScienTOMogy.com was just an obscure New Zealand-based Web site dedicated to lampooning actor and practicing scientologist Tom Cruise. But last month the Church of Scientology threatened to sue the site for trademark infringement. Glen Stollery, who operates ScienTOMogy.com, seems to be enjoying the resulting free publicity. "Website traffic increases over tenfold from recent press from lawsuit threats," a message on his site blared yesterday. "Oh, the irony!"

BETTER UNSAID: "How Does Shakespeare's language, so reliant on sound and speech, look in American Sign Language?" So asks an Oct. 4 press release from the University of San Francisco about a forthcoming performance of the "Twelfth Night." Actors will "sign" the play, which opens Nov. 3, while an interpreter speaks the lines. And there is a bonus. According to the press release, "the sexual puns that Shakespeare is famous for are much more obvious in sign language."

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Thanks for the link to ScienTOMogy.com. Personally, I've always taught my children not to marry outside their faith: Christian. So educating them on the cults of Mormanism and JW's were foremost to me since they so successfully counterfeited Christianity.
I'm sure we needn't have worried about this cult. It's far too silly. Amazing what people believe in!! Like...Democrats! joyce
