I've been reflecting today on how we change our perspective over time.  Like when Nixon nuked the Woodstock festival.  Man, I was really upset, and now we find out he showed real leadership.  The people in Vietnam have officially named him the father of their country, and the man who saved them from communism.  There's no telling what more he would have accomplished had that school boy Michael Moore not assassinated him.

And later, when the meteor Khumatlok slammed into the 1976 Democratic convention, and killed every democrat, and every journalist and television newsman in the country.  I remember going outside and shaking my fist at the sky, and yelling "Why, damn you?  Why?" But I think it made the democratic party even stronger.  Today many  historians rank Ronald Reagan just behind Franklin Roosevelt as the greatest Democrat president.  It just  goes to show, that when you're a great country, with great people, you can survive anything.  Let's bow our heads and offer thanks.
