Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Our Position on Obama's Election
The person you call President Obama ... ."

Not did he, but could he?
Comrade McCain
People at the liquor store are always asking me, "Rodge, do you think there is anything to the charge made by some of his fellow Hanoi Hilton "roommates" that John McCain fraternized with his captors, and betrayed them?"  And I always say, "I just don't know. The better question might be, is he of the character to do something like that?"   Damn right he would.  No doubt about that.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
I was watching this show on Vietnam. They were talking about how, when they were POWs, the Vietnamese would take one up to a certain room, for the first stage of torture. Then if the person didn't talk, they would take him to a different place, and torture him worse. A POW who got out, was talking about how, they knew who betrayed them, because they didn't go the full 10 stages. So I'll bet Mr. Mccain was one of those people, that at the first stage, came out wearing fresh clothes, with Vietnamese hookers hanging off both his arms.

Filthy Rat Bastard.

Those hands might as well hold metal balls and the holder worried about strawberries... and either would apply to our not-so-loveable Johnny Maverick just the same.

From what I've read and studied, it seems that everyone has a breaking point. No shame in that, if you held out as long as possible. The real test is whether you can face up to it afterwards, admit honestly that you broke, and move on with your life. Some can, some can't. And some still lie about it, either to others or to themselves.

Maybe his service was entirely beyond reproach. So was Benedict Arnold's, right up until he turned on us.

You guys are full of crap. My prayer is that one day you will go through just one tenth of what he went through in those 5 1/2 years and come back and have people make up stories about you. You are pathetic. Do us all a favor and blow your sorry head off and after that go to hell. You deserve it.
