" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Impeach Bush

Gawd this gives me major wood

I want to be the first person not associated with the loony left to say it.  Being a president who's not a liar and a thief will only get you so far with me and apparently Dubyah has succumbed to dark forces within his administration and crossed the line.  According to this front page New York Times story summary by Matt Drudge, any hope of enjoying four years of principled government from the White House is officially dashed.

"In a stunning U-turn for the Bush administration, the United States has sent a climate report to the United Nations detailing 'specific and far-reaching effects' that it says 'global warming will inflict' on the American environment... [and] places 'most of the blame for recent global warming on human actions -- mainly the burning of fossil fuels ....'"
Mom told me that running around with bad people would get me into trouble and I'll bet Barbara Bush gave her brood the same admonition.  But oh no, George HAD to pick Christie Whitman as EPA Administrator.  Who else to blame for this most recent affront in an expanding list?  But maybe Bush is trying to emulate Clinton's triangulation ploy and co-opt liberal Democrat policy?  If so he's doing a damned fine job, but his base is principled whereas Clinton's was not.  So much for Republican 2002 congressional election hopes.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
