My sense is that Spielberg's heart is in the right place (as are the hearts of most liberals), but the combination of self loathing, and the trademark arrogance of all liberals leads him to make the case for lining up at open graves.  Damned if we won't have to save his ass, along with the rest of them, but it does get tedious working  against the tide 24/7.  (I'm practicing  condescension, so as to meet them half way).  Here's the whole article, if you're interested.
