" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Today's Timely Retro Post
ASCAP updates their all time greatest selling "Holiday" Song list.  And, what holiday would that be?  Snow time holiday?  I don't think so.  What they really want to say is "ASCAP  Top 25  Christmas Song List without any reference to Christmas."  Well, guess what?  If you're older than about 8 years old, the season's songs you grew up hearing include a bunch of actual Christmas carols.  You do not need to be Christian to get the warn fuzzies while hearing Silent Night, any more than you need to be Jewish to enjoy that song .. you know, "Nageeva Havla??"  ... you know.  They played it a lot in that movie Exodus ... Anyway, I have compiled the real Christmas Holiday MIDI music song list on the right.  I suggest turning your volume way up and playing every one of them at work.   Here's lyrics for when peeps ask you, "We want to sing along, but don't know all the words."

Peace, brothers and sisters. Enjoy.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Your ratbastard list needs correction. You have songs in that list that mention Santa Claus. The ACLU has objected a number of times to the image or impersonation of Santa Claus in public buildings.

They say that Santa Claus is just another name for for Saint Nicholas, a saint in the Catholic church. Thus Santa Claus is an illegal Christian symbol.

That's real nice like, Rodger. Thanks. And point well made. I'm not Jewish, but I love to hear, Hava Nagila, (Let Us Rejoice & Be Glad) in any language should be as beautiful.

OH, great! Now I've got that Hava Nagila song stuck in my head and can't stop humming it! What's more, it's making me think about some movie I heard it in, Captain Newman, M.D.
I love the flick because Bobby Darin does an astonshing acting job, and Tony Curtis teaches Italian POW's to sing Hava for a Chirstmas Show carol. Great fun! anyways, thanks for that. joyce

Can I please have 1, 17, and 24 from the ratbastard list, too?
