When I click Install, I get a blank screen?
 

You know, one reason I've never gone to Firefox is that I HATE (with a passion) tabbed browsing. Is there a way to disable that feature without causing it to operate in an unstable manner?
 

why bother?? Stay with IE.
 

A couple of things could be happening. When you try to install an extension Firefox will ask you if you want to trust this site. Watch what happens on the firefox toolbar, it should ask if you want to authorize this installation.
The other thing I notice is that sometimes F
irefox will open the install window underneath the current browser window. Keep an eye on the taskbar and see if a new window appears there.
That said, I just tried the Tab Preview install and it seemed to come up properly on my system.

Thanks for your blog, an island of sanity.
You (at least I) can close Firefox tabs by clicking the tab with the mouse wheel. No need for those small "X" targets on the tabs.

I guess I should've mentioned that clicking a link with the mouse wheel automatically opens that link in a new tab, tho' I'm not sure this is news to anyone but me.
