" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Client Democrats
Stoo-pid [his handle] reader sent me this heads up from James Taranto on the nature of  canker blossom duplicity.  It seems a well aimed scud hitting room 206 would have a salubrious effect.  Too bad it would also be illegal.  Sigh.

What do terrorists and "antiwar activists" have in common? Here's one nonobvious thing: On Friday and again yesterday we noted the tendency of terror groups to use a variety of names in order to create an illusion that they are more numerous than they are. Turns out left-wing fringe groups do the same thing here in America. Consider this list of "groups":

According to their Web sites, all of these groups are located in the same room, at 39 West 14th Street, #206, in New York City, and all share a phone number. According to this page, that room also is the headquarters of the Mumia Mobilization Office, which doesn't appear to have its own Web site. The International Action Center, run by crackpot (or, as the New York Times calls him, "contrarian") Ramsey Clark, seems to be the moonbat mother ship. Clark is off in Baghdad representing Saddam Hussein, which tells you something about what these "antiwar" "groups" actually stand for.

Here is the page, but the article doesn't have an individual permlink, as I'm sure you already know:

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."

I thought you were going to say...

"They wanted Kerry President"

Or, "They both like Hillary in 08"

Or, "They all feel Carter is a wimp"

etc...

Seems Front Page Mag discovered this address, too, in a 2002 article. In that article they found the address in question to house International ANSWER, and "Iraq Sanctions Challenge", along with a number of others. Popular address, that.

Also: see Redguard's Blog, and all others with this google search.

Thought I'd have some fun with A9, and found a pic of the front of the place.

Street shot of the front of the building.
Sorry; I wasn't allowed to post an image directly.

You can see the number "41" in shadow on the window over the door behind the twin mailboxes, and the blurred "39" over the doors under the giant "W". Look around the neighborhood here.

"Other businesses" in the building include #10 "People's Rights Fund". Heh. Indeed. (to steal a phrase.)
