Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Our Position on Obama's Election
The person you call President Obama ... ."

CBS -POOP
We've been discussing the predicament CBS News finds itself in.  Since last year's revelation that they were using manufactured stories about Bush, in order to help defeat him, things have gone down hill, which is pretty tough when you're already in  last place.  Mike Wallace, the voice of 60 Minutes, just heard journalist son, Chris Wallace, pronounce that dad had "lost it"  - after pop told the Boston Globe that the fact George Bush had been elected president shows America is "fucked-up."

"He's lost it. The man has lost it. What can I say," the younger Wallace lamented to WRKO Boston radio host Howie Carr on Friday.

"He's 87-years old and things have set in," the Fox anchor continued. "I mean, we're going to have a competence hearing pretty soon." - NEWSMAX

But, wait, there's more.  Katie Couric is the favorite to replace Dan Rather, on the basis that she's a "respected journalist."   These people never leave Manhattan, and have utterly no idea what's going on.  Their business is regurgitating last night's dinner party conversation. Which explains Hannah Storm's confrontational tone with Karen Hughes this morning. It also underscores my position that liberals in the media have become rabid dogs, and we'll have to hang them all.  I mean that in the good way, of course.
CBS’s Hannah Storm interviewed long-time Bush ally and current ambassador Karen Hughes on this morning’s “The Early Show,” and appeared rather testy and ready for a fight (Video Link). Storm began by painting an incredibly negative view of Iraq leading up to tomorrow’s elections, and then hammered Hughes on why the ambassador thinks things will get better after Iraqis go to the polls for the third time this year:

“What makes you think that the elections will be a turning point? What makes you think they will make Iraq a more secure place for its citizens and the U.S. troops there?

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Confirming my wise decision to rarely, if ever, watch any of the Big 3's news programs.

I don't know how you can do it without committing mass murder.
