" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Our Position on Obama's Election
The person you call President Obama ... ."

Weepy Bill
James Carville guaranteed a Northwestern University audience that, had Al Gore been president, 9-11 would not have happened.  Guaranteed it! While I was making my grilled cheese sammich just now, I reflected on that.  What possible, credible, scenario could Carville present to buttress that argument.  There is just one.  Usama bin-Laden calls President Gore and says. "Unless you want more TWA 800's, get out of the Middle East, and give us the weapons to destroy Israel."   That could work.

NewsMax has a story today that  backs Louie Freeh's contention that Bill Clinton was lax in his efforts to get the perpetrators of the Khobar Towers bombing.

Interviewed by the New Yorker in May 2001, two Saudi officials noted that Prince Bandar was present during the meeting. And Bandar's version, according to those same Saudi sources, contradicts the claim by former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger that his old boss vigorously pursued Khobar during the meeting.

"Clinton, by many accounts, was almost crying," the New Yorker said, based on interviews with the Saudis.

<SNIP>

Bandar "remembered the crown prince consoling Clinton about his legal troubles. At one point, the crown prince, who was wearing a black robe, said to Clinton, 'All those who attack you and are making such a big issue out of this' - the Lewinsky affair - 'should be like the lint on my robes. One should just throw them off.'"

Addullah promised Clinton that he would "talk to people on the Hill and tell them they should respect the Presidency and not wipe the floor with it" over the Lewinsky case.

The Saudi sources said that while Clinton did eventually mention Khobar, "It was along the line of 'Would you be kind enough to continue cooperation?' "

Abdullah was stunned that Clinton had demonstrated so little interest about a bombing that had killed 19 U.S. airmen.

One more thing, these inside stories, revelations,  about the Clintons will be leaking out for the next 50 years, many of them death bed confessions, I imagine.  What good will it do?   Won't matter.  Fifty years from now, Nation magazine will still be insisting that Alger Hiss was innocent, Julius Rosenberg was framed, and the Clintons were victims of a vicious smear campaign. So will tomorrow's empty headed  liberals.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."

Why James Carville? I mean why is this guy sucking oxygen? I don't get it. Are the liberals in this country so desparate for anybody so say anything good about them that they'll pay this guy just because he's the best they can do? I mean, do you look at him and say gee, that James Carville he is one smart, charismatic chick-magnet. I think I'll sell all my worldly possessions and follow his teachings. Somebody explain it to me.

Although Clinton was the King of Korruption, I gave him slack because he did nothing during his presidency. A do-nothing government is better than a do-every thing government.(Like jimmycarter)

However, the extreme extent of his do-nothingism is now coming to light. His do-nothingism is responsible for many of today's world problems.

I feel very ashamed that I gave Clinton any slack at all.

19 Airmen died in that one instance and nothing was done. That just goes with the Clintons generalattitude about the military. They could have cared less. 17 Rangers died in Samolia they did not care about them. GI's can tell who really care about them thats why they would do anything for Bush. They are crazy about there CIC.
