When I was in college, (late 80's) we had a big piece of plywood painted like an "over" NCDL, with a hole cut out where the photo was to be and a little curtain attached. You'ld stand behind it (with your head in the hole, in front of the curtain) snap the picture and laminate it on the library card machine. There must have been at least twenty "David Joseph Green"s running around back then... all with the same birthday and address.

That's hilarious. I love the fact you can see the shadow behind you and on the left of the cutout. I kinda wish I still had one of mine (I had several) but I learned early you can't be sentimental about evidence that can be used to convict you.
