Maybe Why Nancy Pelosi is a Dunce?
  • Nancy D'Alesandro's Baltimore high school American history class is studying events leading up to the Korean war
  • Her teacher relates how the Soviet Union's UN delegation  walked out of the Security Council,  in protest, as members discussed North Korea's invasion of the South in 1950.
  • Bored to tears, Nancy stands up and announces she's going to the girl's bathroom for a smoke.
  • Nancy's dad, Mayor Tommy D'Alesandro, has teachers fired who displease his daughter, so nothing is said.
  • While Nancy is smoking a Parliament cigarette in a bathroom stall, her class learns that, because of Stalin's blunder in ordering the walkout, the Security Council was able to vote for intervention against North Korea.


That's just a guess.  I'm trying to figure out why Nancy  D'Alesandro Pelosi would order House Democrats to boycott the panel investigating the disaster that was Louisiana's response to Katrina.  Evidently she grew up thinking Joe Stalin was a brilliant politician, who also invented the radio, and deserved emulation.  Because, without the usual democratic obsfucation, former FEMA director Michael Brown - a politician with nothing to lose - was able to speak truth, unimpeded  save for a valiant attempt by RINO Chris Shays. We learned that everything democrats charged the Bush administration with during Katrina's aftermath was, in fact, a democratic problem with lies,  graft, and rock and roll.

Nancy finally gets her F.

I use to live in Denver and suffered 24 years listening to Pat Schroder. God, I swear my ears bled sometimes. But at least, at times, she moved into the coherent side of things. She finally retired when the R's took the House and Diane DeGette stepped in. Truly the dim bulb of the House. Listening to her, I could only cock my head like a dog hearing strange sounds.

I would pay to see DeGette give the D response to one of W's speeches. Pelosi's intellect(?) towers over the hapless rep fron district 1.
