Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Dueling Bimbos
"I've decided I'm coming out," Miss Fonda said. "I have not taken a stand on any war since Vietnam. I carry a lot of baggage from that."  - Jane Fonda announcing  the schedule for  her  "F**k America Tour - '05"
Baggage?   I'm pretty certain that any national questionnaire asking "Who is the most despicable woman of your lifetime?" would have Fonda the landslide winner for second place. During  Treason Trip 72   she was hanging with the likes of Tom Hayden and Ramsey Clark.  This time she's lowered her standards. Disgraced British politician George Galloway  will join her on the "environmentally friendly bio-diesel bus" tour that kicks off in Boston Sept. 13.  WTF?  Why in heaven's name would Fonda saddle herself with Galloway, a man who was expelled from  the Labour Party,  who was on Saddam Hussein's bribe payroll, and who was caught lying when he testified before an United States Congressional committee?  The answer, of course, is Galloway is more reputable than any of today's American leftists.  LOL.

Here's some favorite Fonda observations from the past ... just to establish her bona fides for people too young to remember Kukla, Fran, and Ollie.
  • "I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist."
  • "The Viet Cong are the conscience of the world."
But wait, there's more!

Cindy Sheehan leaves Camp Crazy  in Crawford Texas on September 1 to begin  her own bus tour.  Like Fonda, the Sheehan gaggle will include her own families of Iraq war veterans and casualties.  I wonder if they are bombarded with recruiter's phone calls, with promises of free trips and television sets by the competing tours d'farce?  It'll probably boil down to whether the disaffected are green or not (Sheehan's bus will use environmentally unfriendly diesel fuel) as to which group they travel with.

Now, for the big question.  Why would anybody want to be seen in public with either of these groups?  I'm serious.  You can bet money that all  these people will be wearing white shoes after Labor Day.   Serial Mom, where are you when we need you?

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
