Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Our Position on Obama's Election
The person you call President Obama ... ."

That other party
"So much for Former Vermont Gov. Howie Dean running the Democratic Party. He couldn't even cop an invite to one Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's California fundraisers. "He wasn't invited, and to the best of my knowledge he didn't ask," says a DNC staffer, who said party headquarters was nonetheless talking about the snub last week." - Pushes Come to Shoves
If Howard Dean is the poster boy for what has become the Party of Hate, and he is, what, pray tell me, is the difference between him and  Sen. Harry Reid, who was in attendance?  And Hillary?

"She is angry. Not all of the time. But most of the time," wrote Gail Sheehy for her 1999 book on the former first lady. One unnamed Clinton aide told Sheehy that her boss was "in a perpetual state of anger because of all she has absorbed."  Wash Postie: Bill Made Hill 'Crabby'

And while we're wallowing around in hatred, lunacy, and mendacity  ... what about the gold standard, John Kerry?  For at least the 50th time in the past two years Kerry last week announced he had finally signed Form 180, releasing his military records for public consumption.  According to Real Clear Politics  "no one has actually seen a copy of it to date."

Comments:

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Remember in last year's primary when the "Anybody but Dean" movement started. The Fat Cats in the party saw a train wreck coming with Dean at the throttle.

Because Democrats can't learn anything from history, they elected him leader again just months after rejecting him. Now everybody can see another train wreck coming. An "Anybody but Dean" movement is starting up once again.

Jake, they had to. The party's base is now represented by Moveon.org, and any Democrat who wants to win a Democratic nomination is at their mercy (which is why we are safe). My only real fear is that, like the rabid dogs they are, they will start biting. Under the surface, after all, they are Weathermen style anarchists.
