Suicidal glory is the luxury of the irresponsible.
We're not giving up. We're waiting for a better opportunity to win.

" I don't think I've ever met a Liberal whom I didn't like on a personal basis. That said, if your goal is to change minds and influence people, it's probably not a good idea to begin by asserting that virtually all elected Democrats are liars. But what the hell."

Browsing the University of Colorado's Book Stacks
"He's a bit embarrassed about it now, but 33 years ago, Ulrich Wendt was convinced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intended to flood much of northern Canada."
Lordy, how many nincompoops did we know that this in 1972?  We had the global cooling crowd, maxed-out population idiots, KGB sponsored anti-war freaks, and guys like Wendt ("If you've read our pamphlet, you know our paranoia at the time").  He straightened himself out, many did not, and are today teaching in our universities. Like that canker sore who will not go away, Ward Churchill

While Wendt's group [Dam the Dams Campaign] disbanded a few years later,  no longer fearing what it once thought was an evil, imminent "plot to dam Canada's major rivers and redirect them to the ...  U.S. and Mexico," guess who didn't?  That's right.  That psychopathic plagiarist from the University of Colorado, Ward "Squats and Pees Like a  Squaw" Churchill.
"Nearly two decades after Dam the Dams released its pamphlet outlining the ill-fated plan, he republished virtually the same work, eventually claiming it as his own."
The Rocky Mountain News has extensive details ["The Water Plot' thickens"] but here's what we know for certain.  At this point nobody can be sure that Ward Churchill  was even born on planet Earth, so extensive are his documented frauds.  Yet UC refuses to strip him of tenure and fire him ... because he espouses the same left wing philosophy that drives them.  Hatred of  the United States, a Marxist ... make that Bolshevik ideology, and an allegiance to our nations enemies.  What a cancer.

"I did not vote for Obama but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $150,000 in back taxes."
Gayle Miller
Bwahaha! Good one. Heck, you could probably find a set like that at Columbia, Harvard, Yale, you name it university.

Besides, if you're under thirty and a product of public schools, you've probably never heard of Winston anyway.

A cancer? At least a cancer grows. Pees Like a Squaw is still stuck in 1968.

Perhaps more like a dog turd on the kitchen floor. Annoying, offensive, stinking and useless.
